He began investing in the late 1990s, deeply immersed in nearly every traditional real estate strategy: wholesaling, lease options, multifamily, mobile home and land, REOs, foreclosures, and more.  But like many, the 2007-2008 financial crisis changed everything.  The collapse of the lending system and the sudden evaporation of liquidity forced him to start over, not once, but multiple times.

That “forced renaissance,” as he calls it, led him to something most investors overlook: Notes.

Seller-financed and institutional notes offered a path forward-one that didn’t depend on volatile markets, tenant drama, or endless rehabs.  With limited capital and no appetite for further chaos, he adopted note investing as a means to rebuild with control, simplicity, and consistency.  It didn’t just restore his portfolio-it reshaped his entire approach to wealth building.

Since then, he has taught note investing across the U.S., helping thousands of investors learn how to “be the bank” and create reliable income with less stress and greater flexibility.  His teaching style is rooted in experience, authenticity, and a deep respect for the grind of starting over.
